Developers and summer – what could be the connecting element? Of course – this is beer! And we have it in Latvia due to old brewing traditions. But this is not the only thing we have. Here are some suggestions what you shouldn’t miss.
Although the June is considered to be the first month of the summer it is not very hot weather in Latvia yet. So don’t forget to grab jacket. Even if the weather is going to be nice, jacket can warm you during chilly nights that we suggest to spend outside premises while enjoying Old Town Riga. If you are looking for something special, you should check the Street Food Festival outside traditional tourist places. It is across the river in the nice quarter called Kalnciema Quarter. Riga Beer District unifies a number of Latvian small beer producers and innkeepers, who wish to present to beer lovers the diverse offer of our breweries.
If you have spare time, we would recommend to leave Riga and go in the direction of one of the most beautiful cities outside – Sigulda. What is so special about this place? On the first hand, it is really beautiful there during any season of the year. Secondly – you can try to fly!
